My only negative is how busy the traffic was out in the lanes. Completely beyond your control I know but at times it was carnage. However, your marshals handled it very very well!
Being able to collect bibs the day before was also a massive plus. It really helped take some of the stress out of race day morning.

Start could be better organised. Consider setting off in waves if going for bigger numbers next year, and also the course needs to be wider during the first mile to accommodate everybody.

You seem to be having a problem with the chip timing as I type this on Monday lunchtime!

I wish the pacers had been at the start of the race before the competitors had lined up. So I and club members would have known where to stand.

Some good points: Organisation for registration was very good, lots of people around to give directions and general help. Toilet facilities fantastic. Finish area was great too.

Areas to improve: PA at start was difficult to hear. Pacers needed to line up earlier, to help runners know where to stand. Traffic management in small villages caused runners to have to stop/slow down. Perhaps 2000 runners was too many for this route. Disappointing that chip times were not actual times for everyone. I assume chip reader at the start line didn’t work.

A little crowded in Bradford because of cars but understandable that you can’t stop all traffic

Just a small note to mention the starting caral was a bit tricky, I ended up further forward than I would have liked. There was also an aid station right where the road narrowed over a bridge, this caused traffic frustration and could be moved. Overall I absolutely loved it though, thank you to everyone involved! I will be back!

If it were possible to close all roads completely where we ran, it would be perfect.
There was a couple of inconsiderate and impatient drivers. Obviously, no fault of the event.

Just that the timing was incorrect as it used the start time and not the chip time. This is important for me as I run a race every weekend and compare my performance in each one.

Congratulations to the whole team. Absolutely brilliant event - excellent facilities from bib collection and bag drop to marshalling and aid stations. Organisation was seamless. Had the feel of a really quality event as well as being welcoming and inclusive. Amazing work and I look forward to coming back!

Congratulations to Active South West for bringing back the Taunton Half. Your hard work, vision and professionalism shone through to make the 40th edition a fantastic event with a wonderful atmosphere. Would highly recommend to runners of all abilities.
