Big improvement on the old Taunton half ‘Fruits of the Loom’ shirts but the unisex shirts don’t fit us ladies very well. Thanks.

Thank you for bringing this event back to the town - a really outstanding piece of organisation. The town was alive. Great to have the market on the same day.

Very well organised, excellent support throughout the entire course, few big hills but the course itself was great and marshalls throughout. Loved it and would highly recommend

Overall event was fantastic.
The race start was a little congested and there could have been more road closures but these were minor things!

There were plenty of toilets and they were clean.

The only downside was running on open roads which were quite busy. I did feel safe but it is something which will make me consider whether I will register for next year.

This was a great event, with a brilliant atmosphere - both at the start/finish and right along the route. Thoroughly recommended! 2 small things to consider for 2027 - 1) the queue for bag drop was quite long, some additional volunteers to help with bag check-in would be really helpful. 2) some of the faster pacers arrived in the start funnel quite late, which meant it was hard for many runners to judge where to position themselves ahead of the start. We had to guess, but then ended up a little far back, our pacer arrived and took up position well ahead of us, but by then it was too busy to move up. Two small points but hopefully helpful. Congratulations to the organisers for a great event overall!

Hope this is helpful feedback because I’m really grateful to the team for bringing this race back to Taunton and I really enjoyed the event.
- bag drop not very secure, suggest more separation between bags and runners.
- email communication was excellent
- registration fast and plenty of loos.
- loved the museum as race HQ
- front loading the starting pen worked out but might cause friction
- car people mix up to Norton felt a bit uncomfortable at times although everyone was polite and other than full road closures, which I guess are unlikely, not sure what to suggest
- liked the course changes at start and end

Only possible thought of change was how to lead runners into starting funnel for the start.

Other then that one small thing an amazing event and certainly interested in doing next years.

The roads and the cars were a nightmare they needed to be closed. Running with so much traffic was dangerous and held runners up at points. I enjoyed but was hard going.

Fantastically run event, loads of quality marshals, results posted quickly. Although they do differ a little from my watch time. (a min slower)
Probably won’t run it again as a little hilly for me!

Fantastic race, well done to all the organisers. Pre race info was superb, picking up numbers, bag drop, toilets etc were all easy and well organised. Well marshalled and lots of support
